2008 News Update!

A  big thank you to all those who made our 2008 workshops another huge success.
We had a fun filled fortnight creating some really amazing art work, including Yadapapa, a life size puppet which was created by many of our disabled young people.

We are also thrilled to have made a mosaic for the United Reformed Church which will soon be installed outside the church for all to see, well done everyone.

The music work shops at Hook Centre were also well attended, and our young people enjoyed the drumming groups and making music CD’s on computers.

At the end of the fortnight we exhibited all the wonderful art work that had been created, friends and families came along and admired the work.
We were pleased that the Deputy Mayor accompanied by his mother, came along and gave a very nice speech congratulating all.
Please have a look at our picture gallery.

Yadapa would like to thank our funders, Help a London Child, Jack Petchey Foundation and RBK.
We would also like to thanks The Summer Uni for their help in funding, it was great to be a part of this new enterprise, we look forward to joining in with The summer Uni again in 2009.
Yadapa is working hard to raise funds for 2009 workshops, and as soon as we have news we will post it up, here under the 2009 tab.
If you would like to help Yadapa by raising funds or making a donation, please click on the

‘contact ‘ button at the top of the page.
